Before entering law school, I worked as an insurance adjuster where the company’s goal was to pay as little as possible. Adjusters are trained to meticulously look for ways that a claim is not covered, and to seek reasons not to pay. Insurance companies know full well that after a major accident and injury, most people will be in a huge financial hurt. As a result, through a variety of tactics – including delay and denial – insurance companies can save millions of dollars that rightly belong to accident victims and insureds.
This is wrong.
My experience in working for insurance companies led me to pursue a legal degree so that I could fight on behalf of clients. This passion for helping clients get full and fair compensation – not one penny less – is the driving force not only behind my firm, but more importantly behind how I handle every client’s case.
